The High Court of Delhi Mediation and Conciliation Centre, has rightly been named, “SAMADHAN” which means ‘Resolution’. The word Samadhan appropriately reflects the aims and objects of Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre as a catalyst in providing a healing touch to the litigating public in amicably resolving their disputes.
On January 16, 2024, Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre organized a symposium and release of Samadhan Calendar 2024, by Hon’ble Justice Manmohan, Acting Chief Justice, High Court of Delhi.
The topic of the symposium was “Meditation Practice and Advocacy: Embracing the Change.” The esteemed speakers, judges of Delhi High Court, included:-

Hon’ble Justice Rajiv Shakdhar.
Hon’ble Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva.
Hon’ble Justice Navin Chawla.
Hon’ble Justice Subramonium Prasad.
Subsequently, the Hon’ble judges released the Calendar 2024, of its year long activities.
The High Court of Delhi, had earlier issued a slew of guidelines to be followed by the mediators while drafting settlement agreements in matrimonial cases and said that such agreements must also be published in Hindi language, in addition to English. The guidelines are needed by mediators to draft agreements with a degree of coherence, consistency and no ambiguity.
