Siddhartha Educational Society was established in the year 2002, under the Society Registration Act. The Society has opened various higher educational institutes granting education in the field of Law, Pharmacy, Management, Sciences and Research, by the names of Siddhartha Law College (est. 2009). Siddhartha Law College (SLC) began its journey for excellence in Legal education amid the lap of nature in the lush green valley of Dhanda-Khudenawala, near IT Park, Sahastradhara road, Dehradun. With an intense desire and dream to scale new heights in the field of Law to produce professionals of international repute, SLC has been conducting various courses in Law, successfully. The distinguished governing bodies of SLC have created an environment which emphasizes and focuses on overall personality development and learning life skills along with practical skills of students, by structured teaching and training programs guided by professionals.

Courses 

B.A LL.B. 5 years integrated 

It is an integrated course of law where students get the opportunity to simultaneously study law and humanities. Law course is multi-dimensional in scope. An integrated Law degree with BA, is intended to develop reasoning skills among the students. BA.LL. B Course will be helpful to the students who wish to choose their career in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication, Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Historian, Economist, Educationist, Political Scientist, Philosopher, Social Activist, Personnel Manager, Sociologist, Philosopher, Public Relation Executive and so on. There are various career options where legal knowledge is required but for which it is not necessary to be a lawyer or a Judge. The allied subjects offered under this course are English, Political Science, History, Sociology and Economics. It is a five year course comprising ten semesters.

Eligibility: Pass with Minimum 45% of marks in 10+2 (in any discipline) for General/OBC candidate and 40% marks for SC/ST Candidate and a valid CLAT & LSAT Score.

LL.B.: 3 Years Course 

We offered a three-year graduate degree conferring the title of LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) or B.L. (Bachelor of Laws). However the legal education system was revised by the Bar Council of India, the governing body of legal education in India. Both the types of degrees (i.e., three-year and five-year integrated honours) are recognized and are also qualifying degrees for practice of legal profession in India. A holder of either type of degree may approach a Bar Council of any States of India and get upon compliance with the necessary standards, be enrolled on the rolls of the said Bar Council. The process of enrolment confers a licence to the holder to practise before any court in India and give legal advice. The entire procedure of enrolment and post-enrolment professional conduct is regulated and supervised by the Bar Council of India.

Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline with Minimum 45% marks for General / OBC Candidate and 40% marks for SC/ST candidate and a valid CLAT & LSAT Score.

BBA.LL.B 5 years Integrated 

BBA.LL. B provides an integrated understanding of the inter relation of management studies and law in their entirety than in specified areas. Allied subjects offered under this course are Business Economics, Principles & Practices of Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management, Financial Accounting, Organizational Behavior, Corporate Planning & Project Management, Human Resource Management, Statistics, International Business, Business Environment. Study of these subjects enables the students to develop a comprehensive understanding and help in taking them to the zenith of their career.

Eligibility: Pass with Minimum 45% of marks in 10+2 (in any discipline) for General/OBC candidate and 40% marks for SC/ST Candidate and valid CLAT & LSAT Score.

LL.M: One year 

LL.M. degree prepares the students for a satisfying career in various branches of law, such as law officers, legal advisors, law professionals having independent set-up. LL.M. degree also qualifies a person for teaching in a Law school and University. They can also take a judicial service examination and become judges. There is no dearth of career opportunities for LL.M. degree holders. 

Courses are taught in a variety of formats, including seminars, lectures, and small group classes. LLM Specialization. 

1. Criminal Law
2. Corporate Law 
3. Constitutional Law. 

The specialization helps the students select a proper field. Like, many lawyers are specialized in criminal litigation, Constitutional law, Business Law, Environmental Law. The Specialization helps the students to pursue their interest even further and they move into a new area of expertise.

Eligibility: Law Graduate (BA. LLB., BBA.LLB., LL.B.) with minimum 50% marks for all candidates and a valid CLAT & LSAT Score

Library

Library timings will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but issue/return of books timing will be from 9:30am. to 5:00 p.m.

A Book will be issued for 15 days only. However, issued books may be recalled earlier, if urgently required by the Library. Maximum number of Books that can be issued to a UG Student is 2 and to PG Students are 2. Periodicals and Reference Books will not be issued and may be consulted only in the Library. A Book must be returned in the same condition in which it was issued.
