Law For Other Spices - By Maneka Gandhi

Q. What does it mean by 'Prescribed Authority' and 'Prescribed Payment' for registration? What is the prescribed fee for inspection of the register by any person?

A. The prescribed authority is the Animal Welfare Board of India, established by the Central Government. This Board has been established for the promotion of animal welfare and for protecting them from being subjected to unnecessary pain or suffering.
