National Law University, Jodhpur (NLUJ) is one of India's leading Law Schools situated at the vibrant and colourful city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. LL.B. (Hons.)

The intake capacity of all the five year undergraduate degree programmes (B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons), B.Sc., LL.B. (Hons), B.A., LL.B. (Hons), put together is 100 students + 15 (NRI).) The break up of the intake capacity is as under: Scheduled Castes : 15%; Scheduled Tribes : 7.5% and for Physically Handicapped: 3% seats.

Post Graduate Courses

LL.M. (Corporate Laws, IPR and Technology Law, International Trade Laws, Banking and Finance, Cyber Law and Cyber Security )

Time duration for this course is one year and intake is 20 in each.


Eligibility: Postgraduate degree in the Law with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade. Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. (However, before the completion of the admission procedure, the original mark sheet of the qualifying examination has to be produced to show that the candidate fulfills the eligibility criteria.)

LL.D., D. Sc. and D. Litt. Programs

A candidate seeking admission to a higher research degree must have pursued outstanding research in the concerned discipline and obtained the minimum qualifications required for admission as mentioned below: (i) Must have obtained a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree from this University or any other recognized University, in the concerned discipline, at least 3 (three) years prior to the date of application; (ii) Must have made significant contribution to research in the concerned discipline as evidenced by research publications in refereed journals.

Placement and Internship

National Law University, Jodhpur has an elaborate internship program for both Undergraduate as well as Postgraduate students. The internship program has been made a part of the curriculum to achieve the object of imbibing practical knowledge on applicability of law and "learning law in action". The program is initiated right from the first year.
