Rajesh Narain Gupta appointed as the member of

the Advisory Board of US India Investor’s Forum

 

Rajesh Narain Gupta has a vast experience in corporate and transactional matters. His area of specialization includes almost all aspects of Banking Laws and Practices, Structured Finance, Micro Finance, Corporate and Commercial Laws, Real Estate (including Foreign Direct Investment in India). He has been a pioneer in India in the field of Succession & Estate planning.

Rajesh Narain Gupta has been appointed as one of the members of the Advisory Board of US India Investor's Forum (USIIF). This forum is headed by the President and CEO of Tata Asset Management. USIIF's mission is to promote United States as a prime destination for foreign direct investment through various programs and activities that highlight U.S. government's efforts in facilitating international capital flows and sustaining open markets.

The Forum will complement the efforts of U.S. states to promote investment focusing on outreach to Indian investors and playing a mentoring role for them. The Forum will also serve as a liaison between the Indian investment community and U.S. government to address investor concerns and queries. The Forum is assisted by an Advisory Board which comprises of executives from some of Mumbai financial and accounting companies.

The U.S.-India Investors' Forum (USIIF) has recently been formed with the support of the US Commercial Service in order to make reliable, comprehensive information available to Indian investors about FDI opportunities in the US, and to create a feedback process by way of which the US Government can discern the statutory adjustments that are needed to encourage more FDI from India, on an ongoing basis.
